Our Team
We are a small family business made of people who had a huge luck to do what we love for a living. At the moment there are only two full-time employees in the company, but we would be nothing without the help of the co-owners, numerous part-time workers, externists and other supporters.
Kryštof Novák - CEO, online jedi, marketer, mapmaker, tournament director and hard worker
Lately it was Kryštof who pushed the company forward and took care of finances, management, etc. He is also just the right guy for handling technologies. He is in charge of our online store, all our websites (from discgolfpark.cz to konopisteopen.com), all our facebook accounts, instagrams, e-mails, blogs etc. Retails is also his domain, it is him who orders products from our suppliers. Other than that he is a well established tournament director and map maker for almost all Czech DiscGolfParks, some Finnish, Dutch and Australian DiscGolfParks and all US DiscGolfParks.
Couple years ago on an Albatros Team training camp he said that he wants to make disc golf the next Czech national sport.
Přemek Novák - founder, visionary, salesman
He founded our company and has been steering it in the right direction from the very beginning. He is the visionary, but also our friend and supporter. His responsibilities are DiscGolfPark sales and design and development. Without his vision and strong conviction, Czech Republic would not have more than a hundred disc golf courses and no American disc golfer would konw the word 'Konopiště'.
He wrote his final thesis on 'Strategy of disc golf development in the Czech Republic'.
Michal Grepl - speaker, advisor, organizer and team player
If Kryštof is the engine and Přemek is the steering wheel of our company, Michal is the oil that makes it work overtime. Thanks to him and his perfect emotional quoitent everything runs smoothly. At the moment he pursues other opportunities (he is a director of a leisure centre in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm), but he is always ready to help when we call him.
Tomáš Valík - resourceful busy bee, artist and master of video
Yes, you guessed it right. Tomáš is the guy behind most videos on our YouTube channel. He often comes up with ideas, records the videos, edits them and publishes them. And people love those! We are sure you would too, only if they were in English. We'll work on that too, no worries.
